Who is?

Kyle Mangan
Kyle Mangan is a second-rate litterateur, published poet and active musician. In addition to his Sundays spent in prose, his Mondays and Fridays bookend the work week where Kyle is a mediator and guitar instructor. A student since 16, a student until 60, Mr. Mangan fully intends on becoming a professor and a lawyer, perhaps even a law professor. He likes samurai movies and semicolons, but dislikes internet memes, abbreviations, gender roles and concrete conceptions.

Liam Sarsfield
Liam Sarsfield is an honors English student at the University of Victoria. He is a second rate poet and a first class motorcyclist. In his free time, he can be seen motorbiking up and down the coastline, stopping to gaze longingly at the whiteness of sheep or the greenness of fields. He does no work and maintains this site while aligning himself for a career as a contemporary American poetry professor.

Ottilie Short
Ottilie Short is an English student between Montreal and Victoria. Her interests are also split between English and drawing. She doesn’t believe in writing a concrete biography, but a few things she has enjoyed for a while now are the earlier films of Jean-Luc Godard (she hasn’t seen his later work to judge), reading books that she doesn’t want to put down, drawing naked people in charcoal, riding her motorcycle by the beach at sunset, the sky when it gets progressively darker blue at the centre, pens that write well, her russian camera, editing films and drawing comics. In her future, there will likely be a few cats.

Kyle Shipp
Kyle Shipp is a musician studying Composition and Jazz Guitar Performance at the University of Oregon, planning for secondary education in the field of composition. He teaches guitar lessons out of his car to whomever will pay. Kyle’s friends are made up of either Baristas, or English students who speak only about prosody and rhetoric. He has found that if you spend enough time with either group, you will learn interesting things. Mr. Shipp dislikes Bon Iver, terms like “post-modern” or “neo-classical”, polo shirts and above all: flip flops. He believes in a world where everyone is multilingual, drinks coffee when they can, and practices yoga. Though this is unlikely to happen in his lifetime, he copes by devoting his precious non-music time to just that.
Shipp has contributed 47 articles.
